Wiitd— Between north-weit and south-west at all places north of Napier and New Plymouth and south of Lyttelton and Hokltika, and between north-east and north-west at all other places Babohitie— Fall everywhere Ska— Heavy on western coast, and between Kaikonra and Castlepoint Warnings for gales and rain have been sent to all places BTNOPBIB Or LABT 48 HOURS Biting barometer everywhere until about midnight on Saturday, when it rose steadily in all parts of the country, and since then it has risen slowly at all stations. Strongr westerly gales have been experienced at most places south of Napier and Wanganui, and 'mow bss fallen on the high lands south of Blenheim and Nelson B. A. EDWIN 9th July
