Three thousand people attended the bicycle racos at Lancaster Park, In the final hoat of the One Mile Champion Test Race, Wood was first ; Wilmott (North Canterbury), 2 ; Handyside (Waitemata), 3 ; Steadman (Duuedin), 4. Wood shot to the front 300 yards from home, and ran home the easiest of winners by half-a-dozen yards ; Handyside, 15 yards away, beat Stendman by 50 yards for the third place. Timo, 3min 3-sth Bee. Ten Mile Champion Test Race was won by Wood ; Wilmott, 2 ; Brown, 3 ; Handyside, 4 ; Barlow (North Canterbury), 5 ; Kerr (Dnnedin), 6. Wood, Brown, VVilmott. and Handyside led alternately till 300 yards from homo, when Wood took tho lead, and won a splendid race by three yards. Time, 33min 15 2-sth sec. The Champion Test Races resulted in Wood being first and Wilmott second.
