Napjkr, Thib Dat. Mr. Lftsoolleß, soliottor, one of the candidates for Waipawa, addressed a meeting in the town last night, and announced himself a Government supporter. The feature of the meeting was that the polioe turned everybody out of the Theatre who expressed the slightest disßent with the views of the speaker. At the R.M. Court a complaint was lodged against a respectable man who had been ejected and knooked about for quietly remonstrating with tho police. An enquiry is to be held.
