Hall and O'Neill (who made the find) for the purpose of further prospecting the country, returned to Hamilton last night with two bags of specimens. They are quite satisfied with the genuineness of the find. The stone is promising, and gold is plainly visible. The specimens will probably be brought on to Auckland in -order to be tested.
