Sorgeants Oakley and Hntchens, of the Newtown Rifles, havo piokod teams to fire thtir opening match to-morrow. The Wellington Rifles will parade at the Volunteer Drillshed to-night at 7.30, for musketry instruction, under Captain Marshall. After parade the remainder of the men will be measured for thoir new uniforms. . A match will be fired to-morrow afternoon at the Ppllhill Gully range (all classes) for company prizes, commencing at' 2 o'olock sharp. Ammunition can be obtained from the Seoretary after parado to-night. The fallowing teams have been pioked to fire the opening match of the Kai Whara Whara Bifle Volunteers, whioh will take pldoo tottnorrow, at 2 o'clock, at their range: — Lient. Davis' team— Sergts. Coleman and Guilford, Corpls. King, Boulor, ' and Rowe, Prvts. James, Holmes, T. Ryan, Crolatt. M'Callum, Gardner, Greer, Sinclair, and Hogg. Lieut. Costelln's team— Col. • Sergt. Yates, Sergt. Durroll, Corpl. Sedg. wick, Prvts. R. Harris, J. Holmes, Maok, Earp, Taylor. Lonndun, 0. Ryan, Overond, Coleman, Bonier. Ammunition will be supplied at the range. The Stella returned this afternoon from -Farewell, French Pass and The Brothers lighthouses.
