I RKDTER'B TELEGRAMS. | xr 1.7 rv.T, • LoND °N, 9th Septomber. to-day at Mitchelltown, County Cork, where he was summoned under the Crimes Act to answer a charge of inoiting tenants to resist the law, a warrant has boen issued for his arrest. Upon tho proceedings in Court terminating, a meUmg of Nationalists was held at Mitchelltown, at which an official reporter undor polioo protection, was proaent. Several attempts were made by the orowd to assault the reporter, which tho polioo repulsed ; but in the souffles that took place a numbor of constables were severely injured, and they were finally compelled to fire upon the mob. Later. In tho conflict between tho polioe and poople at Mitoholltown two of tho rioters wore shot dead. , , 10th Soptembor. In the disturbances at Mitohelltown yesterday, 54 police and 150 civilians wore injured. All was quiet in the neighbourhood to-day.
