English Army AdministrationPROJECTED REFORMS.
BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. — COPYRIGHT. [SPECIAL TO UNITED PEKSB ASSOCIATION.] (Received September 12, noon.) London, 9th September. In the House of Commons the Hon. Mr. Stanhope stated that it was ictended to undertake reforms in the War Office. There would be a separate inspection of manufactured goods and stores, and the heads of the army would be made responsible in future for the maintenance of stores in a state of efficiency. Naval stores would be included in the naval estimates. The offioo of Surveyor-General of Ordnance would be abolished. It was hoped these reforms would have the effeot of increasing eoonomy and efficienoy.
