The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's s.s. Doric left for Now Zealand lost night. London, 17th May. The Australian mails, dated London, Bth April, pov P. and O. Co.'s R.M.S, Parramatta, wero delivered here to-day via Brindisi. The Peninsular and Oriental Steam 'Navigation Company have declared a dividend for tho post half -yoar at the rate of 5 per cent, per annum. (Received May 19, 1.45 a.m.) London, 17th May. The death is announced, at tho age of 71, of Sir Thomas Erskiuo May, late Clerk of the House of Commons.
