In the evening views of English oathedrals were shown by Mr. Seagar, Mr. Keyworth giving tho dosoriptive lecture. The Wellington Garrison Band will take part in the band contest this evening. Mr. Putnam will conduct, and the leading oornet will be played fey Mr. Cemino. A conference of the Executive Committee and the delegates of friendly societies for the purpose of discussing matters in oonneotion with the contemplated friendly societies' demonstration, is to be held in the Chamber of Commerce on Monday evening. In oonnoction with the production of the operetta there is to bo a select concert each evening. . It has been suggested that in order to make more accommodation for the publio, the organ should be removed altogether, and a large platform to accommodate the singers and oichestra ereoted over either of the entrances to the concert hall, leaving the ground floor to be used entirely by the andience.
