The man Robinson, charged with robbery from the Hotham branch of the Federal Bank, has been committed for trial, bail being accepted. Stonby, 3rd September. Arrived — Union Steamship Company's s.s. Wakatipu, from Wellington, this morning. The same Company's s.s. Manapouri left for Auckland this afternoon. Mr. Or. Augustas Sola, who is a passenger by the Manapouri, will commence his tour of New Zealand at the end of next week. His opening lecture will be delivered in Auckland. |
