The enquiry into the wreck of the brigantine Helena was concluded Ust evening, when the judgment of the Court, which was composed of Mr. O. Curtis, R.M., And Captains Webb, Bowon, and Falmor, was delivered. The Conrt found that the lobb of the vessel was oaueod by ft serious error of judgment on the part of the captain, by shaping his course too far to the southward, and that he is further to blame for not haying taken more aotivo steps to save his vessel after the aooident occurred. Captain Henry Bowden's certificate was suspended for three months, and he was ordered to pay the costs of the enquiry. Tho captain, in his evidence, M-id he did not know the vessel wat insured till he arrived in Nelson, The ship was owned by the Don Trading Company of Tasmania, and was insured, it is understood, for £1250.
