Attempt to Scuttle a Vessel.

A dastardly attempt is proved to have been made to scuttle tho brig Transport, now loading in Mak&ran, last Sunday, by which ehe filled and settled en the hard. The examination shows three anger holes bored through the copper. An anger aboard has copper adhering to the screw. Capt. Roberts has had a survey mado, and proceeds to Auckland for advice and assistance. The vessel belongs to Capt. Ellis, of Newcastle, and is uninsured.
