The Rabbit JMuisanoo Aot Continuance Bill was passod through committee, road a third time, and paßsod. The debate was then resumed on the seoond reading of the Legislative Counoil Bill and SirF. Whitaker'B amendment " that a committee bo appointed to take into consideration the present constitution, powers, and prooodure of this Council, with a view to suggeat snoh amendments and alterations therein as the committee may deem expedient or desirable. Suoh committee to consist of nine members, to be ohosen by ballot ; to report within throe weeks."
