THE rapidly increasing business of Mr. Henry Fielder, of Littlo Dustpan" fame, during the fifteen months he has been in trade in Manners-street, has warranted him making very considerable additions to his establishment. He has juet completed an exteneion, with a frontage of 40 feet to the street, and a depth of 60 feet, one half of which he has devoted to the purposes of a show-room for his large assortment of glass and china, and the remainder he has sub-let to Mr. Mulligan, draper. Mr. Fielder is fast making a name for himself as a manufaotnrer of first-class furniture, and some specimens he bas turned out of the cabinetmaker's and upholeterer'b art are highly creditable to his skill and taste. All his goodß being made on the premises under his direot supervision, he is enabled to warrant their quality and manufacture, and from the large assortment he has on view, purchasers of all tastes can be readily suited. But the furniture-making is by means the only branch of his large business ; he aims at being a " universal provider," and in his large wareroomß may be found every requisite for furnishing a house of any size from a cottage to a mansion. We do not know whether Mr. Fielder emulates the universal provider— Mr. Whiteley— to the extent of providing wives for his customers, but everything else for the furnishing or adornment of a house can be supplied by him at a moment's notioe. Amongst his specialities are some remarkably choice " lines of imported dinner and tea services. Of these all qualities are in stock from a plain earthenware dinner set at 50s to a magnificent hand-paine d Staffordshire service at thirty guineas. Tea services oan be bought for abeut 18s, and run up to ten guineas, at whioh price he has some really exquisite speoimens of high art in China painting. Clocks and mirrors, pictures and ornaments, beds and carpets, trunks and footstools, kitohen utensils and toilet sets, eleotro-platedware and tin teapots — the young couple must be hard to please who cannot find what they want at the Little Dustpan. As a sample of what he can do in the manfaoturing line, Mr. Fielder bas produced some very handsome ebonizod and gold overmantels and mirror frames, which in beauty of design and finish are in the higest degree creditable, and suited to adorn the most elegantly furnished room. The repairing of broken furniture is also a feature of bis establishment, and many artioles whioh their owners had thought of burning aa firewood now look as good as new after a course of bis surgical treatment. Altogether, his establishment is well worthy of a visit, not only from those desirous of furnishing, but from all who take any interest in the fostering of local industry. MONEY. £10 ™ JIOOO.
