Every effort was mad* by his -. fellow-workmen and others in the vicinity to release him, whioh was the work of a very short time A party of volunteers carried the unfortunate man to Panamatta, whence, he was conveyed to town and taken to tha Hospital. On making enquiries at th* Hospital this afternoon it was ascertained J from Dr. Chilton that lues's injuries are exceedingly serious, and his condition is regarded as being a dangerous one. The sufferer's ohest la ornshed terribly, and tha internal injuries sustained are very severe.
