Arrival and Departure of Trains.— The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatoh or arrival of tho Trains at the exact times notified in the above Tables; should oiroumstanoes render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, tho Fares paid will bo returnod ; tho Department docs not undertake to for* ward passengers in suoh oases. Passengers oan be booked at Stations only on condition that there it room in the Train. Children undor throe years of age travel free ; above three and under twelve years of age, half -fare. Passongers entering the Train at a booking Btation without a tioket, or having got in at a flag station, and not taking a tioket at the proper booking station, will be oharged one shilling in addition to the ordinary faro. Goods and Paroels to flag stations, platforms, and private sidings, where no officer of the Department is in ohargo, must be Prepaid, and will be put out at suoh station! at the risk of the consignee. Parcels must be at the station at leas thirty minutes before the advertised timo of departure of the Train by whioh they are to be forwarded. Luggage.— Eaoh passenger is allowed to take 1121bs of personal luggage free (not inoluding merohandiso of any kind), and for evory 561bs or f raotion of sGlbs above tlu's weight, for evory 50 miles or f raotion of 50 miles, the charge will bo One Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to bo taken into tho Carriages, unless of suoh a sizo that it oan be placed under the Boat without inoonvenionoo. The Department will not be responsible for Luggage whioh is not carried in the van, or whioh passengers may havo negleoted to see labelled. Paßsongors having luggage to go by Train must prosont it at the station at least ten minutes boforo the advertised departure of tho Train, or the Department will not bo responsible for its despatoh. Passengers who havo lost luggage are requested to give notioe to the Stationmaster at once, Tho Department will not be responsible for any luggage or paroels improperly left about the station premises. Horses, Carriages, 4 Dogs.— Tho Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses, Carriages or Dogs by any particular Train, but when sent, they must be at tho forwarding station half-an-hour boforo the departure of the Train. The ownors of Horses must provide means for Bocuring them in tho horse-box, and the Railway Department will not bo accountable for any injuriei sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vioious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions for horse-boxes or oatfriago-trneke must be mado the day before they are wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of soouring them. They will not be allowed in oarriagos, and the sender must obtain a ticket, to Be given up before the end of the journey, before the dog is delivered. Smoking is strictly prohibited in any put of the Railway premises, or in the carriage*, except thoso speoially set apart and marked for the purpose.
