MILITIA NOTICE. Wellington, let May, 1885. TT is hereby notified for public information X that the Militia Rolls have been prepared at Wellington and are to be seen at the various Police Stations in the District. All persons liable to serve in the Militia, but whose names do not appear in the lists so posted, are informed that under the existing Militia Act it is incumbent Upon them, under a penalty, to give in their names in fnll, stating whether married or Bingle, agea, and - placos of residence, to the Adjutant of the District, between the hours of 10 a m. and 2 p.m., on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, at his office. Monnt Cook Barracks, with a view to tho completion of the Rolls. Written communications from persons unable to attend, containing the required information, will be accepted. J. G.
