Arrival and Departure of Trains. — The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains ot the exact times notified in tho above Tables; should circumstances render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, the Fares paid will be returned; the Department does not undertake to forward passengers in such casea. Paaaengara can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in tho Train. Children under three years of age travel free ; above three and under twelve yearß of age, half -fare. Passengers entering the Train at a booking station without o ticket, or having got in at a flag station, and not taking a ticket at the proper booking station, will be charged one shilling in addition to the ordinary fare. Luggage. — Eaoh passenger is allowed to take 1121bs of personal luggage free (not including merchandise of any kind), and for every 561bs or fraction of sGlbs above this weight, for every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to be taken into the Carriages, unless of snob, a size that it con be plocod nnder the seat without inconvenience. The Department will not be responsible for Luggage which is not carried in the van, or which passengers may have neglected to see labelled. Passengers having luggage to go by Train must present it at the Btation at least ten minutes before the advertised departure of the Train, or the Department will not be responsible for its despatch. Passengers who have lost luggage are requested to give notice to the Stationmaster at once. The Department will not be responsible for any luggage or parcels improperly left about the station premises. Goods and Parcels to flpg stations, platforms, and private sidings, where no officer of the Department is in oharge, must be Prepaid, and will be put out at Buoh stations at the risk of the consignee. Parcels most be at tho station at leas thirty minutes before the advertised time of departure of the Train by which they are to be forwarded. Horses, Carriages, ft Dogs.— The Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses, Carriages or Dogs by any particular Train , but when Bent, they must be at the forwarding station half-an-hour before the departure of the Train. The owners of Horses must provide means for securing them in the horee-box, and the RaUway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisi'dons for horse-boxes or carriage-trucks must be made the day before they are wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be allowed in carriages, and the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the end of the journey, before the dog is delivered. Smoking ia Btrictly prohibited in any part o! the Railway premises, or in the carriages, except those specially act apart and marked for the purpose.
