Hamburg and Bremerhaven will be the ports of departure for the direct line of German steamers to Australia. The Cabinet had a long meeting yesterday on the Egyptian question. It extended over four hours. General Lord Wblseley wa9 present. The shareholders of the Australian Mortgage and Agency Company, Limited, have sanctioned the proposed increase of capital. The police precautions for the safety of the members of the Cabinet have been renewed.
