Weston and Allan Holmes report favourably to his Honour, the Acting Chief Justice, upon the legal attainments of the following candidates for admission to the New Zealand Courts -.—Mr. P. W. Pennefather, barrister, admitted elsewhere; Messrs. Biohard Butt and Galbraith, Bolioitora, admitted elsewhere ; Messrs. Levi and Buckland (colonial students) as barristers ; and Messrs. Oribben, Skerrett, Kirk, Kennery, Haultain, Franklin, Moorhouse, Sinclair, Dignan, Doubleday, Halliday, Eiohmond, Milne, and Stanford, also colonial students, as soiicitorg. The last two gentlemen, who claim to Hold the degree of LL.B., were examined merely in New Zealand law and praotioe.
