The ss Wanaka left Nelson at 12.18 yesterday afternoon, and reached Floton at 8.13 p m. ; left at 9.80, nnd arrived alongside the what f at 4 this morning. She exporlouood light head wluds with smooth sea till midnight, theuco till arrival strong south-east wind and sea. The wanaka sailed South this afternoon. The ss Hawea left Fort Chalmers at 11.10 a m. on the sth. called at Oamaru aud Akaroa, and arrived at Lyttelton at 11.25 yesterday morning ; sailed again at 0 10 pm , and arrived here at 12 86 this afternoon. Sho sails North to-morrow. The ss Haurakl left the Mauukau at lpm. on Thursday last, and arrived off Opunake on Friday afternoon, but was unable to go In on account of the heavy weatlior provnillug. She then proceedod on hor nay to Wangiuiiii, but had to turn baok and take refuge at Cnpe Bgmont, where she rtmalned till Monday morning Arrived at Wan. ganui at 7 p.m. same day j sailed at 3 30 yesterday afternoon, and arrived hore at 6 30 this morning. She leaves tor Wanganui, Opunake and Waltara to-ulgut. The ss Walhl left Blenheim at 11 last evening, and arrived hore at 5 this morning- She returns at midnight. .... The ps Wallace, from Nelson, arrived last eveuing. Sho returns this evening. The steamers Wakatu for Kalkoura and Lyttelton, Korauui for Nelsou and West Coast port*. Waverley for Fate*, Tui for Wauganul, Jane Douglas for Foxtou, anil Mohaka for Blenheim, sailed last evening. Tho two latter vessels should be baok to-morrow. The ss 00-Abead is due from the South tomorrow, aud is advortisod to sail same day for Wangauul via New Plymouth. For the latter port, sho takes 20 passengers ex ship Wentland. The SB Hula sailß Tor Wanganui at 8 o'clock to-night. Tho ss Kangaroo is duo early to-morrow morn, ing from WesTiPort. The barquo Cabarfeldh came round from the slip last oveuing, aud loaves for Qreyinouth on the flrnt opportunity. Tho ss Napier leaves to-morrow evening on an excursion trip to ilavolook.
