, , Ths S.s. Hula left Wanganui at 6 p.m. yesterday iadlifkt W. wind, and arrived here at 4.45 this toorning. She returns to-morrow. The s s. Wakatu. fron Patoa and Nelson, arrived at 1 o'olook this morning. She leaves for Pat** to-menow. The steamers Orafton and Charles Edward, for Nelson and West Coast, and Hanraki for Foxton, Opunake, Taranaki and Waitara, sailed last evening* The steamer Hawea left for Pioton and Nelson yi<i afternoon. Tk« s.s. Jane Douglas sailed for Foxton this afternoon. She is to be laid up at the end of the WMk to receive her new boiler, which will take two or three weeks. Tho ss. Napier will take up her running during that time The s.s. Manapouri arrives to-morrow morning from Melbomrue, Hobart and southern ports. Bhs leaves for Auckland via East Coast in the afternoon* The steamer Wanaka arrives from the North to-morrow, and sails for Lyttelton name day. The N.Z. Shipping Company's ship Orari left London for Wellington on the 31st August. The Waitara was loading for Wellington on the same 4a te. The barque Norman K'Leod Is chartered by the N.Z Shipping Company to load at Napier for London. The s.s. Tni should arrive to-morrow night from lytt«lton and Kaikoura. The s.s Napier came round from the slip to-day and is advertised to leave for Ficton this evening
