The Westport Colliory Company have purchased the steamer Ladybird fr«m the Union bteamsbip Company. The Ladybird ia wellknown in Wellington, and was formerly owned by the New Zealand Steam Navigation Company. It is expeoted she will arrive here about the end of the month.
