Beeves (Mr. Jzard for defendant), a claim of £3 5b 6il. The defence wa^ that some coals, part of the olaim, had not been received. Verdict for £1 5s 6d, which had been paid into Conrt. Reovds (trustee in Sexton's estate) V M'lntvre-Mr. Isard for plaintiff, Mr. Gully for defendant— an action to recover .£4O on a promissory note. The dafenco was that the note was only given conditionally on defendant, who puronased the debts in thd above estato, collecting the amount. Vcrdiot for tho amount claimod. Campion v. Watty— Mr, E.
