Judgment summons.— Besl»y t. Williams. JBI3 Gs ; ordered to pay Jsl per weoV, or 28'days' imprisonment. Mr. Gnlly for plaintiff. Verdiot3 for plaintiffs were given in the following cases :— Jameson v. Cuinmings, jfo f)a 6d } Casey and M'Donald v. Mallejy 13i 6d. Truatof sof Mills' Estsito v. Beeves (Mr. Jzard for defendant), a claim of £3 5b 6il. The defence wa^ that some coals, part of the olaim, had not been received. Verdict for £1 5s 6d, which had been paid into Conrt. Reovds (trustee in Sexton's estate) V M'lntvre-Mr. Isard for plaintiff, Mr. Gully for defendant— an action to recover .£4O on a promissory note. The dafenco was that the note was only given conditionally on defendant, who puronased the debts in thd above estato, collecting the amount. Vcrdiot for tho amount claimod. Campion v. Watty— Mr, E. Shaw for the plaintiff, Mr. Gully for defondanfc. This was a question ot account between tho parties iv connection with an hotel at Taita. The case was prooooding when wo went to press.
