Arrived— s 30 p m., Hauraki, 7 p.m., St. Hilda, from Wellington. 19th October. Arrived, 5 a,m.— Manawatu, from Wellington. Blenheim, 19th Ootober. Bail«d, 11 a.m.— Napier and Mohaka for Wellington.
The a a. Penguin, with the SanFranoisco mail arrived at 10 25 laßt night. She left tha Manuiau at 3 45 p.m. on Monday, and arrived off New Plymouth at 5 a.m. yesterday ; sailed again at 8 run. and arrived as above, bhe leaves for Nolson at 5 this evening. The s a wanaka left Port Chalmers at 1 80 p.m. on the 17th, experienced strong northerly wind and heavy head sea, and arrived at Lyttelton at '4 pm. yesterday ; pushed on at 640 p.m., hod fine weather and arrived here at 11.^)0 this morning. She leaves for the North to-morrow. Tho 88. Waitaki arrived at 7 this morning from Nelson and Pioton, and Bailed again at 11.15 for southern ports. The steamer Graf ton left Lyttelton yesterday afternoon, and arrived here at 11 SO this morning. Bhe sails for Nelson and West Coast this afternoon. - Tbe~s.s. Huia left Wangauui at 630 pm. yesttrday, crossed the bar at 7.15, had light easterly wind and arrived here at 7 this morning. Bhe returns to-morrow. The b s Jane Douglas left Foxton last evening and tiri ived here at 4 this morning. Bhe returns to-morrow. The p s. Manawatu should arrive from Wan.C&nui to-morrow morning. She is advertised to return same day. The Stotmbird -was towed round to the Patent Slip early this morning by the Jane Douglas. Captain Williams' new steamer Westporc left Cardiff on the 3rd September for Wellington. The steamers Napier n.nd Mobaka should arrive early this evening from Blenheim. The three-masted schooner May leaves for Japan in a few days. ?
