At the City Council meeting on Thursday next, the Public Workq Committee will report inter alia -. — That the claim of Mr. F. Kitchen and Sons be granted ; that tho reward of £5 offered for the conviction of parties injuring trees within the plantation reserves be paid to Detective Chrystal ; that in all case 3 where fencing notices have been unattended to, the necessary work be dono, and the partie3 liable sued for the cost thereof ; that tho formation of Wesley-mad, Aurora Terrace, and Boltanstreet, bo postponed for the present, only the nece3^nry repairs being effected; that the cab stind in Upper Willis-street be removed to the north side of Boulcott- street ; that the snm of £5 be paid to Mr. Bnlliman, in full of nil claims for damage to hia property in Pirie street ; that tenders be called for a 12 months' supply of coment and firewood ; that the formation of Moturoa-st. at its junction with Moore-Btreetbe extended to its full length ; that the formation of Brookstreet be extended to another half chain ; that accounts amounting to JE734 Is 9dbe piß3ed for payment.
