Wind— Between north and west and southtrert in both Islands. Babomkteb— Further rise at places south of liyttelton, and rise at other places after 12 hours. Bb — Heavy on western coast of both Islands. Wabningb issued yesterday hold good. Since yesterday morning a farther fall of the barometer has taken place at all stations except in the more northern districts; it has risen durlngtbenight. B . A . EDWIN . 12th May
