Great pnblic regret is felt here at the death of the late C. Broad, E.M. It is hoped the Government will proceed at once to fix the appointment of Wardens, both here and at Greymouth, as the existing arrangement cause great public inconvenience in Inangahna. It is hoped also that the appointment will be bestowed upon officers of the requisite training and previous judicial experience.
