The Maggie Patterson left at 11 a tn. yesterday for I.yttelton, with sleepers and coke Sbe sailed over the bar. The Grafton and Charles Edward are still detained, awaiting favorable report of bars at Grey and Hokitika. A seam, eight feet thick, of splendid bard coal has been found at the higher level in Wellington Mine.
