Hawea will arrive from Port Chalmers and Lyttelton to-morrow morning and leave again on Monday for Auckland via Bast Coast. The s.s Oreti leaves for Wanganui, Waitara, and Manukau, at 6 p.m. to-day. The B.s. Stella is expected to return from Opunake to-morrow. AU accounts against the ship Pleiades are to be sent in to Messrs. Levin & Co. on or before Tuesday next. The steamer Wakatipu left Sydney for Wellington on Tuesday last, and Bhould therefore arrive to-morrow. » The ketch Emerald, from Waitapu, in ballast, arrived last night. The brigantiue Endeavour left Greymouth on the 16th and arrived here last night, bringing a cargo of coal. Experienced north-east and northerly weather throughout. k> Yasterday, a surf-boat, built by Messrs. Paull and Roberts, Clyde Quay, for the Government, tor the purpose, of landing stores at Opunake, was despatched to that port by the Stella. Her dimensions are— Length, 27ft. ; beam, 7ft £ln. ; depth, 2ft. 4in. She is built of well-seasoned locally-grown timber, and is copper-fastened throughout. Messrs. Paull and Roberts have also supplied one for the Hinemoa of rather less dimensions, and have received orders for Similar boats from Messrs. Clifford and Webb for their Floxbourne Station, Messrs. Johnstone, for use on the s.s Go-ahead, and Mr, E. Pearce, for use on the schooner Aurora.
