THE WELLINGTON POST OFFICE.

TO TUB EDITOR OP THB EVBNING POST.'" Sir — I know you are at all times willing to ventilate a grievance, and tbat is my excuse for addressing you again. You cay you have made enquiries into the matter, ana find that in all toe case* broughtunder your notice the delay iv delivery 'arose from those accidents \ which sometimes will occur in sorting a heavy mail. Now, sir. if that could have held a place in my mind after due consideration, I should have been one of the last to attack a class of men that I know are not allowed to defend their conduct by the means I am using at the present time : but it seems so strange that since February, 1878, when I first began to receive my papers in Wellington, I have not had a full complement of papers delivered in one lot more than twice, and have also received two papers of one unto, the one that was delayed when received being tbe same date as one already received. 1 can also name five others that are suffering from the same complaiut. Ido not wish to attach any blame to • he clerks or any other classes in particular, but the circumstances seem to point so plainly to tbe conclusion I have arrived at that I cannot think otherwise. I am, &c, One still looking for stray papbr bt laßt kail.
