A. "REPRE SENTATIVE MEETING."
TO THE EDITOR OF THE EVBNINS POST. Sir — Mr. Hutchison did not address the Thorndon ratepayers at the Princess Hotel last night; he held forth to a number of carters and boys who came from Te Aro, and who make a practice of attending all his spoutings, the boys rewarding him for anything tunny*by clapping their hands and -homing " Hear, hear." V\ ith the exception of three Thorndon ratepayers, those present were most decidedly opposed to him, and it would ba bet er for him to retire, even at the eleventh hour. Thorndon will have none of | dim. When he co'ues to Thorndon again, let him leave his Te Aro friends behind him. I am, &c, jt THOBHDOK RATKPATB*.
