Dennis M'Cabe, charged with being drunk, was fined 53, or 24 hours' hard labor. AN ABSENTIMG SBA.MAN. Henry" Gattatlet, seaman on board tbe Pleiades, was charged with absenting himself from the vessel. Prisoner was the night watchman, aad went away from the ship. Ho was brdnght back shortly after midnight very drunk. Prisoner, who said ho did not romeraber beinqr away from tlte ship, WHS sentenced to 48 liourV hard labor, Mr. Mansford stating that if the ship had been out in the stream, instead of alongside the wharf, he would have dealt much more severely with the case. CIVIL CASKS. The following judgment summons was heard:— Levi v. Greening, £6 lls 0d; ordered to pay in 14 days, or three weeks' imprisonment.
