The Sultan of Turkey entertained the officers of the English Mediterranean fleet at a banquet. Colonial debentures are in active demand. The betrothal of Alfonso XII., King of Spain, is officially announced. [News by the last mail stated that Alfonso would probably marry the sister of his late consort, Queen Mercedes ]
