Bhe as. Stonnbird left Wanganui at 6 30 last evening, and arrived in harbor at 8 o clock this morning. Bhe sails again Xox Wanganui at noon to-morrow. __ , , The p jl Samson, for West Wanganui, sailed Tha &s. Tfli&yoa, bom Nelson and Pioton, will arrive early this evening. Bhe left the former port at 6.80 last evening, and Ficton at 1&30 this afternoon. The ship Fernglen, for London, left our harbor ahortly before eight o'clock this morning, With a strong N.W. wind. She woo in food trim, «nd, no doubt, will make a quick run home. The p.B. Osprey, -which left Wellington on the 6th lost., only reached her destination, Foxton, on Sunday lost, having been compelled to put Into Porirua and Kapiti to repair the tubes in Che boiler, which were leeking so badly that the fires were quenched. The barque Natal Queen, which arrived from Hebart Town yesterday, -was entered at the Customs to-day, and commenced discharging. Ifessra. Ellaby & Co. are agents. The 8.8. Go-Ahead did not leave last night for the East Coaat, as expeoted, In consequence of the strong N.W. wind blowing, but sailed at noon to-day. It is rtated that 23 Beamen deserted from vessels lying in our harbor last week. The B.s. Albion, from Melbourne via the South, ahoald arrive in Wellington to-morrow morning.
