THE CANTERBURY ELEVEN IN AUSTRALIA.

The cricket match Canterbury v. Bohemians Cricket Club was continued to-day. The weather was delightful. The two Bohemian " not outs," Campbell and Darke, resumed their places, but the latter was caught without adding to hi* previous score of 32. Campbell, however, put together a splendid innings of 92; Riddell also batting in fine form for bis 32, not out. The innings doted for 236 . Ashby and C. Frith bowled very well. The Canterbury men then went in for their second inning?, and scored 105 — Hartland, Lee, Baker, and W. Frith playing well. This left the Bohemians only 67 runs to make to win, and this was easily accomplished, with the loss of only two wickets ; Robinson playing a fine innings of 49, not out. The Canterbury Eleven were therefore defeated by eight wickets. Score : —
