The 5.9. Wakatipu left Port Chalmers at 4 S.m. on Tuesday, Lyttelton at 5.30 pjn. yesteray, and made oar harbor at 9.20 this morning. She sails again for Sydney, via the East Coast, this afternoon. • The b.b. Rangitira, from Poverty Bay and Napier, arrived here at 11 o'clock thifl morning, and will return to same ports on Saturday. The steamers Murray for Nelson, and Stormbird for Wanganui, Bailed last evening. The s.B. Glenelg sailed last night for Horowhenua. The B.s. Huia, from Foxton, arrived at 1.30 this afternoon. The ship St. Leonards, Captain Todd, is now in the fairway, and leaves for London to-day or to-morrow. Her oargo consists of 4454 bales of vrool, 42 casks oil, 48 bags bones, 25 do horns, 3 bales basils, 2 cams sundries, 186 casks tallow. 7 bales skins, 2 do merchandise; valued at about £90,000. She appears to be in fine trim, and will have an opportunity of testing hex sailing Qualities with the N.Z. Shipping Company's ship Wairoa, whioh vessel is expected to leave with the St. Leonards. We wish both captains a speedy and pleasant voyage home. The barque Malay came off the Blip yesterday and sailed for Newcastle to-day. The barque Alexa was token up on the slip yesterday ; her next voyage will be te Newcastle and China. The as. Hawea will arrive to-morrow, from Auckland via the East Coast, and sails South same day. The b.s. Ringarooma, from Melbourne via the South, will arrive here to-morrow. The steamer Manawatu, whioh left here on Monday night, only reached Wanganui at 4.30 p.m. yesterday. She encountered very heavy weather and anchored under Eapitd. The Manawata leaves Wanganui this afternoon, will bo here early in the morning, and returns to game port at noon. The steamers Jane Douglas and Huia, which left here on Monday evening, arrived at Wanganui yesterday afternoon. They -were both anchored under Kapiti for shelter. The former is expected back to-night and sails for Foxton and RangitLkei at 10 p.m. to-morrow. Messrs. Coffey & Dixon, having finished to-coppering and other repairs to the ketch Falcon, launooed her to-day. This favorite little vessel ia now ia excellent trim, and will no doubt give a good account of herself in the .Coasters' Race on Anniversary Day.
