TO THB BDITOR OP THB BYBNINO POBT. Sir — I don't object to the reports of cases in the Supreme Court which appear in your ' paper, but the use of a word in the report of i Bishop r. Maedonald, in your last night's isssue, would lead to misapprehension. Your reporter says, Mr. Travers obtained leave to amend " his pleas." I was merely counsel in the case^ and had nothing to do with the pleas, and the word " his," therefore, was inaccurate. The word "the" should have bf en used. It is usual now, in reports of cases, to mention the solicitors in the causes as well as the counsel, and this Is more especially necessary here, where both branches of the profession are united, and readers may be inclined to attach the blame of failures to the wrong person.
