At the City Police Court to-day Seymour was discharged for larceny as a bailee, on account of the insufficiency of the evidence. The charge of forgery was also dismissed as unsustainable- William Wallace is now being tried for stealing £130 in notes from a person named Robert Twelvatrees, at Mosgiel, yesterday. He was cleverly captured by tke police just as he was about to dispose of the built of the money.
