SPECIAL TO THE POST. INCENDIARY RAILWAY ENGINES. PROSPECTS OF THE HARVEST. (FROM O'OR OWN CORRBBPONDBMT.) OAMARU. 11th January.

Two stacks of hay, belonging to W. M'Kay, were burned on Thursday, at Waimato, having been set on fire by sparks from a passing railway engine. M'Kay intends bringing on action against the Government for damages. The crops are looking well in many portions of the district, notwithstanding the drought. The yield of grain will not bo so large as on more favorable seasons, but a plentiful supply is looked for.
