Taiaroa, Captain Pieterson, left Manukau at 1 p.m. on the Ist, and arrived at Taranaki at 6 a.m. on the 2nd ; left at 9.30, and Arrived at Nelson at 2 a.m. on the 3rd ; left at 1.25 p m., and arrived t.t Picton at 9.40 p.m. : left at 11 p.m., and arrived in Wellington at 4.45 this morning. She went round to the slip for painting at 10 a.m. Tno B.s. Tararua, from Melbourne and Hobart Town via Southern ports, arrived here at 1 pjn, to-day. She lett Lyttolton at 8 o'clock, last night. The Tararua sails agaia this afternoon for Sydney via Auckland and Napier. The Napier for Blenheim, Maaawatn for Wanganui, and Kiwi for East Coast, sailed last night. The b.B. Wanaka got away early this morning for Southern ports. The s.b. Bangatira sailed for Napier and Poverty Bay thai afternoon. The p.s. Samson having been overhauled on the Patent Slip, cama round yesterday afternoon, and leaves for Opunake this evening. The Tui, from Lyttelton and Eaikoura, should arrive to-morrcm. The b.b. Star of tho South, from Westport, should arrive here late to-night. The steamers Huia and Stormbird, from Wanganui, should arrive to-morrow morning. The Hawea will arrive to-morrow morning from the South, and leave for Auckland via the East Coast on Monday. The steamer Wakatipu, from Sydney, should arrive here on Monday.
