A train leaves Upper Hutt for Cross Creek at 7.20 a.m. daily. IN. Trains leave Featheraton at 9.5 ajn. and 320 pjn., reaching Wellington at 12J0 and 655 pjn. respectively. Trains leave Upper Hutt for Wellington at 6.30 a.m. (workmen's train, second passengers only), BJLO, and 315 ajn. ; 235 and SS2O pjn. Trains leave Lower Hutt for Wellington at IS, 8.50, 10.10, arid 11.40 aon. ; 3.10 and 535 p.m. ; also, at 2 pjn. on Saturdays, and 1155 pjn. oil Wednesdays and Saturdays. A train leaver tbe Summit for Upper Hutt at 5.40 p.m. daily. SUNDAYS. OUT. Trains leave Wellington for Lower Hutt at 940 a.m.; 230 iind 5 p.m.; for Upper Hutt at 9.40 ajn. and 5 iun. IN. Trains leave Upper Hutt for Wellington at 935 ajn. and p m. ; Lower Hutt at 10.10 a.m. ; 3.10 and 540 p.m. All trains will call at any intermediate station to take or eet ao-^n, when required, on notice being given to the guard. GENERAL CONDITIONS. Parcels and Good*, for Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga. Petone, Belmont, Haward's, Silver Stream, Kaitoke, Summit, Cross' Creek, and Pigeon Busb, must ba prepaid, and will be put out on the platforms oi* those stations at the risk of the consignee. Parcels and Goods, frcm the above station can be made "to pay " at Wellington, Lower flutt, Upper Hutt, and Featheraton. Late Train*, for operas, theatres, public meetings, &c, can be put on on application to the Manager. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of tha trains at the exact times notified in the above tobies, and in the event of any circumstances arising, either during or prior to the journey being made, which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a train to proceed, will return the fares paid, but does not undertake to iorward the passengers. Luggage.— -Each passenger is allowed to take 112lbs. of personal luggage free (not including werchaciii-e of any kind), snd for every 561 bs. above this weight, for every 60 miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be one shilling. No luggage will he allowed to be taken into the carriages, unless of such a aize that it can be placed under tbe seat with- , out inconvenience to other passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended to have i their names and the station to which they are j p.oteeding distinctly marked on their luggage, and to satisfy thems.lves that it is placed on tho train, as the Railway Department will not be responsible unle s it is booked and paid for. Horses Carriages, &c— The Railway Department does not undertake to forward horse? and carriages by any particular train ; bufc, when sent, they must oe at tuo forwarding station half.au-hour before the departure ofthe train The owners of horses must provide means for securing them in the horse-box, and tho Railway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor wiil it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious horses. At country stations requisitions for horse- boxes or carriage-trucks must be mede the day before they are wanted Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be allowed in carriages, and the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the end of the journey, before the dog te delivered. Return or Periodical Tickets will not be available for special or excurVon trains, except the ordinary time-table is suspended. Return Tickets for distances not exceeding 25 miles are available on the day of issue only; for each additional 25 miles, or fraction thereof, one day extra is allowed. All Tickets used for return later than the day of Issue must be presented at the Ticket Window, and re-dated before the passenger enter the train for the return journey. Any person neglecting to get his ticket re-dated will have to pay tuo ordinary fare < 'rdinary Single Tickets issued on Saturdays and SUidays are available. Every purchaser of a ticket is entitled not only to admission into the ground, but also a chauce in the Art Union for the above prizes. Everybody has a chance; pome one must win.
