In the great cricket m»tch between the Australian Representative Eleven and Fifteon of New South Wales, the first innings of the Fifteen closed for 338, of which Evans made 54 (run out) and Tindall 32. The Eleveu then went in and made tho following scores : A. Bannerman, 4; C. Bionerman, 11; Hi ran, 10; Spofforth, 4; Murdoch, 3; Boyle, 10; Blackham (not out), 19; Garrett, 8; Gregory 0; Allan, 1. Byes, &c, 3. TotP>, 71. [These figures are given as received, but the total of the individual scores as telegraphed to us amounts to 73.] 2nd December. It is stated that the A.S.N. Company have telegraphed to China for seamen. The Auckland- built yacht Waitangl, which was engaged in a match on Saturday last, had a good position in the race until an accident occurred, when she carried away her boom.
