Sharemarket.— The following are the current quotations:- Bank oi New Zealand, £23 to i-23 8s ; National Bank, 775 ; Colonial Bank, 55s ; New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company, 115 a; New Zealand Insurance Company, 85s ; South British Insurance Company, 68s : National Insurance Company 28s; Standard' lnsurance Company 225; Union Insurance Company, 16s: Auckland Timber Company, 120s; Gutbne and Larnach's New Zealand Timber and Woodware JFaetorieß Company, 965. Chbistohdboh, 29th November. Tho drought till continues, and is beginning to tell severely on the crojis. Eeporte from the out distriota are discouraging, and Harvest prospects are far from bright. Qotataons are :— Wheat, 43 3d to 4b 6d ; oats, for feed, 4s 3d ; barley none in stock; hams and bacon, 8 Jd: butter, Od to lOd : flour, £10 to £11. Enquiries are made for wheat for Bhipment.
