SALE OF CARTERTON NORTH.
The competition for the sections in the town- j ship of Carterton North, yesterday offered by auction by Messrs. T. Kennedy Macdonald and Co.. was very keen, and high prices were realised. About CO lots were disposed of, at an average price of £33 each, the total amount realised being £2004. The principal purchasers were Messrs. Kiraberley, Price. Archibald, O. W. Clayton, Campion, Andersen and Jansen, Jobberns, and w. James We are informed that the balance of the sections will be sold at Carterton in about a fortnight's time.
