The sad calamities that have of late befallen I so many thousands of our fellow-creatures should dispose our governing powera to use such precautions as may in the future prevent their recurrence. No one can prevent the consequences of uncongenial seasons, but we can all guard against the results of neglected disease. The great safeguards to health of the present day are those extraordinary medicines, viz., Ghollah's Gbeat Ixdian Cures. They never fail to restore the invalid to health. Get them at the chemists', and read the testimonials.— [Advt.] A constant destruction of bodily substance goes on in the human system even in a state of health. This destructive process is magnified fifty-fold by disease, when it bo completely overbalances nutrition that the system 19 speedily worn out. The loss of strength and substance engendered by these and other maladies, is most effectually compensated for by Udolfho Wolfe's Schiedam Aromatic Schnapps. — [Adyt.]
