The above Valuable Properties, with the exception of 222 and 223, are approachable by a well-made public road, known as No. 3 line, from the main Hutt and Wairarapa-road, close to Mr. Wilkins' Railway Hotel. This road has long been in use by the inhabitants of Wallaceville and Whiteman's Valley, and for the convenience of the District the Government have made a stopping-station where the railroad crosses No. 3 line, which is about three-quarters of a mile from the Upper Hutt Station.
