DUNEDIN. 18th April.
A writ for £2000 damages was yesterday served on the proprietors of the Otago Daily Times at the instance of Mr. C. E. Haughton for alleged libel. The matters complained of, it is stated, were contained in a leading article in the Times of the 15th March, and in a letter signed " Morality," which appeared in last Tuesday's issue of the same journal.
