To the Owner of a Horse described as follows, namely— a Grey Gelding, branded ° WHEREAS information hath been laid before the undersigned, one of Her Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the Colony of New Zealand, for that some person, who is to this complainant unknown, was on the 26th day of November, 1877, the owner of a grey gelding branded jj found wandering without any person having charge thereof, upon land abutting upon Westminster-street, in Kaiwarra aforesaid, not being a common and not having any fence dividing the said land from the said street, and which said grey gelding has been seized by the complainant and placed by him in a certain paddock at Kaiwarra, in the said colony, pursuant to section 42 of the amended By-laws of the Kainarra Local Board. This is to command you to appear on Friday, the 7th day of December, 1877, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, at the Resident Magistrate's Court, Wellington, before such Justices of the Peace as may then be there, to answer to the said information, and to be further dealt with according to law.
