CITY SURVEYORSHIP. rpHE Council is desirous of securing the serX vices of a thoroughly competent Chief Surveyor for tho City, from the Ist day of January next, who shall, in addition to the ordinary duties of that office, have the control of all public works of the Corporation— drainage, waterworks, wharf, &c. The Council invites applications for the same. Tho salary is fixed at £600 per annum. Further particulars may be obtained on application at the Town Clerk's office.
